Our Story
WHO WE ARE
Breede River Valley Bottling (BBK) is proud to be South Africa’s first independent contract bottling provider, founded in 1975 in the heart of the Cape Winelands. From the start, BBK was built on a simple idea: to offer world-class bottling services that support wine producers in taking their product confidently to market.
Today, that idea has grown into a trusted operation serving multiple shareholders — from boutique winemakers to global brands — across a facility spanning 22,000 square meters with a capacity of 40,000 bottles per hour

Our Legacy
BBK was born from the vision of a cooperative of passionate cellar masters who saw a need for excellence in presentation and process. What began as a shared mission in the Breede River Valley has evolved into one of the most respected beverage bottling facilities in South Africa, known for precision, partnership, and premium service delivery.
From our first bottling in 1975 to our most recent PET, BIB, and sparkling wine lines, our innovation has always been guided by what our clients need next.
